HOW TO WRITE A RAP SONG
Let me show you how to write a rap song. I have been writing raps song for over 20 years and I can write three verses at 16 bars and write a hook in about 15 minutes. I have taught many people how to write raps and I can teach you too.
A rap song can be written with either music or without music. The music is called by several names like a beat, instrumental, or a track. Normally a rap song consists of an intro, the first verse, the first hook (chorus), the second verse, the second chorus, the third verse and then the third chorus is usually repeated twice.

Step To Writing A Rap Song
1. You need a beat or an instrumental that you like.
2. Think of how to pick a subject to rap about. Once you have a subject it is a lot easier to write the song.
3. You need to write a hook. a hook is usually 8 bars or 8 lines of rhymes. Normally the hook is where the title of the song comes from and is centered around whatever the subject is that you come up with.
4. Next you will need to write your verses. The average rap song consists of three verses that are 16 bars or rhyming lines in length. In the verses is where you would write specifically about what your subject matter is. For example if you are writing about making a sandwich then in the verse you would describe in rhyming details on how you made the sandwich and what to you put on it, lol.
5. After the song is done then you can write the intro. I would read the whole song all the way through and think of ideas for what you can say to summarize the song in roughly 2-4 sentences, That will be your intro.
6. Now this is where it all comes together. You will need to arrange your song. First the intro. It should be spoken during the first 4-8 bars of the instrumental as soon as it starts. Bars 9-24 is where you should say your first verse. Bars 25-32 is where your first hook will go. Bars 33-48 will make up the second verse. Bars 49-56 will be the second hook. Bars 57-72 will be the third verse.Bars 73-80 will be the third hook, and bars 81-88 will be the "Outro" which is the hook repeated a second time.
At this point you have a completed song and you can tweak it however you would like to. You can think of words to add to the end of a song to extend it like a closing. Similar to the intro. If you chose to do so then the hook needs to loop enough times to fit in any additional vocals you add.
Practice singing the song several times to get familiar with the words so that it gets to a point where you have memorized the song and you no longer need your lyric sheet. Once you have done this then it's time to try reciting it to a few friends to gain some feedback. Now if you want to make it really a challenge your can record your new rap live in studio. Who knows, you may turn out to be the next Lil Wayne!

Watching a music video also helps because it gives a visual to go along with the lyrics of top songs. My music of choice is music hip hop.

Anyway... do you need an intro and outro in a song?or could it be just instrumental and then start sing?
am very much surprised that apart from Hotel calafornia, no other Eagle song finds the list. Many of thier songs were and are still being heard on Radio all over the world,than most of the songs listed. I think this huge list needs more introspection.

The good thing about rap is that you can write a song about anything. Whatever you are feeling inside is what you should rap about. As far as the intro you can tailor it to whatever way you like either with words or just with the instrumental and then start to rap. Thanx for visiting.

I met the grudge in the street. Our eyes meat. She look at me as dead meat. Eyes full of blood and a curdling mouth. You’d think she was the wicked witch of the south. On he Wicca path, she go laugh on her broomstick branch. My hatching plan was to bring up a gang, ring up the thing on my bling phone. Telephone! And bash her to bits until she have no tits!. I wanted to free my self from all this trauma of my high school drama. Still it lives on your mind. Better then you find your favourite item. Fight them to death in your memory. Imagine their ceremony. You try to think they little battle! But no they have their satchel of death weapons. When I was at school, tried to be cool and got beat up for it. Whore it if they did. Get mother fucking rid!. I imagined they as cardboard but no they were more hard. It was a catholic school near a catholic church but no they won’t escape because I fucking lurch under their floor boards. Hoards their cupboards of books and looks. Stalk them with my captain hook!. Fuck I did try to be like them, better then them but no I became as immature as them. It was a vicious circle. We all had a moaning myrtle at school. We did and that was me, I wasn’t free to be who I wanted to be. They bitches, glitches in their whoring motor bikes, their hitch hikes, the boys who sucked their blood until they hookers. I swear bookers at a restaurant had more class. Those people in class had no minds for themselves; they were like puppets of the illuminati. Tit! Felt like there was a volcano in my head. Rushing to the dead fast in a moped. Fast moped, could catch you dead if you didn’t fucking read. My satchel was my protective device, they like mice and rats poking at it saying I’m an emo, like I was a clown of elmo. They said It held butcher knives but they where the one that skives, jump to the skies and dies. Yes! I would of had a butcher knife in my satchel if they didn’t leave me alone. Felt like a clone clown. I deserved a mother fucking crown. Life soon became a black crow, if I didn’t let go, I’d be walking on death row. Crying every night, I wanted to be free as a kite. Yes a kite! Better then a bite from those rusty ass holes at Hogwarts. I hope they became squats!. Stupid potheads, they had bed heads. They came in with cotted hair and their snarls in a glare. They think they were so flare just because they dare to be bare naked. They faked it with mini skirts and low cut shirts, all they could do was flirt with Kurt in the street. They probably made out with any paedophile like Kyle, he on speed dial. They caused me such a pain, all the weight I had gain with a big massive frame. Soon I was becoming the grudge my self but for my own health I had to stop the fucking clock! I couldn’t even wear the frock I wanted. The girls flaunted and the boys taunted. Just a little message to you. Don’t get your life in a fucking screw. Just be you. Don’t follow any motley crew for I did and did get my life in a screw. That’s It! I am through for I have an ego and she go! Fly in the sky and drink holy water. She is the one and she’s the black swan!.
