First of all when you buy an item on Ebay you are bidding against upwards of 50 people for that item over the life of the auction.  This includes both bidders and watchers.  A good percentage of these people are doing exactly what you are doing buying the items low and then reselling them for profit.  The problem comes when you deicide to resell.  If you are reselling the items where you bought them then you will need to wait a few days before you can turn the item around for a profit.  Because if you don't you will be selling the item to the same people you outbid for the item.  This will limit your potential buyers and raise flags as to why you are reselling.  Another red flags is when buyer see the item you purchase in your feedback is the same item you are trying to sell.  Thee will be many questions about why the item is relisted. 

So what is the best option?  The best  option is to buy on Craigslist and then sell on Ebay. Buying on Craigslist will allow you to buy items that you will only have to deal with once, and you will be assured that the item has not been previously listed for sell on Ebay.  There is a great benefit for buying on Craigslist.  Many items are from garage sells so the seller is more than willing in most cases to negotiate up to 50% off of their original asking price for the item.  The more you save on buying an item the more you earn when you sell the item.  Now when you decide to sell on Ebay the item in not a recycled Ebay auction item.  Selling the item on Ebay puts it in the sites of hundreds of people looking for that exact product.  That increases your chances for a higher sell.  Practice using this one two punch and you will see your online income increase drastically.
